What are your café opening times?Our café is open every Tuesday / Thursday and Saturday between 10am and 2pm and our licenced bar is open every Friday between 7pm and 11pm, unless otherwise stated on the website or on our Facebook page. However, please note that our facility is available for events, meetings, and functions outside of these hours upon request and availability. Do you have a music system?Yes, Pilling Village Hall is equipped with a high-quality music system that can be used for events and gatherings. You will be able to play music through YouTube or Spotify and control the volume through the laptop. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to connect your own devices to the system, allowing you to personalise the playlist and create the perfect ambiance for your event. However, please note that we do not have microphones available as part of the booking, so if you require one, you'll need to bring your own equipment.

Do you have tables and chairs available for use?At Pilling Village Hall, we are pleased to offer tables and chairs for use during your event or gathering. Our facility is equipped with a variety of table sizes and styles, as well as a sufficient number of chairs to accommodate your guests. Whether you are hosting a small meeting, a large celebration, or anything in between, we can provide the necessary seating and surfaces to meet your needs. However, you would be responsible for setting up as required and ensure that the tables and chairs are put away clean and tidy.

Am I able to book the hall?Yes, you are able to book Pilling Village Hall for a variety of events and functions. Whether you are planning a wedding reception, birthday party, community group meeting, or other special event, we will do our best to accommodate you. To enquire about booking the hall or smaller meeting room, please visit our book online page. We have 3 sessions available, Morning 7am - 12noon / Afternoon 12noon - 6pm and Evening 6pm - Midnight. Depending on your event you can are book the meeting room or the main hall or you can book them both to secure the whole building for your event. If you're booking the main hall we also have the licenced bar available at a small additional cost. Our Village Hall is a hub for social, educational, and cultural activities, and we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive space for all. Am I responsible for any damage?At Pilling Village Hall, we understand that accidents can happen. As a customer or guest using our facilities, you are responsible for any damage caused by your own actions or negligence. This includes any damage to our property, equipment, or facilities. We ask that all individuals using our spaces do so with care and respect for the premises and everything within them. If any damage occurs, please notify our staff immediately so that we can address the situation appropriately. We may request reimbursement for any significant damage caused by a customer or guest. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain our facilities for the enjoyment of all.

Am I able to cancel my booking?Yes, you can cancel your booking at Pilling Village Hall, and we understand that plans can change! However, to receive a refund, we do require at least 7 days' notice for cancellations. This applies to both your hall booking and if you've booked our bar service. If you cancel with less than 7 days' notice, unfortunately, we won’t be able to offer a refund for either the hall or the bar. Can I set up before my event?Yes, if there are no other bookings prior to your event, you're welcome to access Pilling Village Hall up to an hour earlier to set up. However, if you need more time or want to guarantee early access, we suggest booking the session before yours to avoid any disappointment. We understand how important preparation is, and we want to ensure you have enough time to organise and decorate the space to your liking. Please let us know in advance if you need extra time, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. We want to make sure that your event runs smoothly and that you have everything you need for a successful and enjoyable experience at our Village Hall.

Are we able to have a Catering Van?Are we able to have a Catering Van? Yes, you are able to have a Catering Van at Pilling Village Hall for your event. We understand that catering is an important aspect of any event, and we are happy to accommodate this request. Our spacious parking area allows for easy access for catering vans, ensuring a seamless setup and service. Whether you are hosting a wedding, birthday party, or community event, our facility is equipped to support your catering needs. However, we do ask that the catering van would be self sufficient e.g. bring their own generator for power and it would need to be parked on the grass to avoid oil / fat spills on the tarmac.

Can I use the kitchen?Yes, at Pilling Village Hall, we are pleased to offer the use of our fully equipped kitchen as part of your booking. Our kitchen includes an oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator and ample counter space for food preparation. We encourage you to make use of this facility to cater for your own event or to bring in outside catering services. However, we do ask that all users of the kitchen adhere to our cleanliness and safety guidelines to ensure the continued functionality and hygiene of the space. Please note use of the coffee machine is not included and you will need to provide your own tea / coffee / milk. The kitchen can also be used by catering companies. Unfortunately, the kitchen won't be available on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday between 10am & 2pm. Additionally, any equipment or utensils used from the kitchen must be properly cleaned, dried, and stored after use. We are committed to providing a welcoming and accommodating environment for our clients, and we are happy to answer any questions about the kitchen or any other amenities we offer at Pilling Village Hall.

I am booking a live band for my event, do you have a PA system for them to use?While Pilling Village Hall offers a range of amenities and facilities for events and gatherings, including kitchen facilities, a stage, and seating for up to 120 people, we aren't able to use the dedicated PA system for live performances. If you are planning to have a live band at your event, please ensure that they are able to provide their own PA system and any necessary sound equipment. Our team is available to assist with any questions or concerns you may have about hosting live music at Pilling Village Hall, and we can provide recommendations for local vendors who may be able to assist with sound equipment rental if needed. Are you able to advertise my booking on the Pilling Village Hall Facebook page?Unfortunately, we are unable to advertise individual bookings on the Pilling Village Hall Facebook page. Due to the high volume of events at the hall, including both private bookings and events organised by ourselves, it is not feasible to provide this service. However, we recommend utilising local Facebook groups, which have a strong following and can be an excellent platform for promoting your event. We are able to advertise your event on our digital screen, which showcases everything coming up at the hall. If you would like to utilise that, please email your artwork (1920px x 1080px) over to info@pillingvillagehall.co.uk and we will gladly add it on there. You are also able to put posters up in the notice board outside the hall on the roadside.

Am I responsible for cleaning?Yes, as a hirer of a space at Pilling Village Hall, you are responsible for cleaning up after your event, this includes the toilets. Our dedicated staff take care of all the cleaning before each rental, ensuring that the space is ready for your event we just ask that you leave it as you found it. All necessary cleaning equipment is available for you to use, making the process as easy as possible.

I am interested in booking your venue for a block booking for a club or class; am I able to get a discount?Yes, we offer a discount for block bookings at Pilling Village Hall. If you book 6 sessions, you get one free. This makes our venue an excellent choice for regular clubs and classes looking to secure a consistent and cost-effective location. Am I able to bring my own alcohol?Unfortunately, due to licensing regulations, you're not able to bring your own alcohol to Pilling Village Hall. But don’t worry! We’ve got you covered with our fully licensed bar, which can be added to your booking for just £30. It’s stocked with a great selection of drinks at prices lower than your average pub, so your guests can enjoy a fantastic variety without breaking the bank!

Where do I collect the keys from?When you have made a booking at Pilling Village Hall, you can collect the keys from our designated key holder Beryl Richardson, Bell Farm, Bradshaw Lane, Pilling PR3 6SN on the day of the event. It's important to note that keys must be posted through the letterbox at the front of the hall promptly at the end of your event in order to avoid any additional charges. Do you a projector & screen?Yes, for a small additional cost. Pilling Village Hall is equipped with a high-quality projector, projection screen and a large TV in the main hall plus a large tv in the meeting room for all your audiovisual needs. Whether you're hosting a community event, a business meeting, or a social gathering, our team can assist you in setting up and using the projector and screen to ensure your presentation or entertainment runs smoothly. Please add your requirements in the comments when making your booking and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.

Are we able to use the stage lighting as part of our booking?No, unfortunately, the use of stage lighting is not available for private bookings at Pilling Village Hall. The stage lighting is reserved for events and performances organised by the Village Hall itself, and is not included in the standard booking package for private events or functions. However, we do have party/disco lights available for you to use at your event! Instructions on how to operate them can be found on the wall next to the music cupboard on the stage. Am I able to have a bouncy castle?Yes, you are allowed to have a bouncy castle at Pilling Village Hall! Ideally, we recommend setting it up outside for the best experience. If you need to bring it indoors, please ensure that it’s under 13 feet tall to fit comfortably in the space. Additionally, the bouncy castle hire company will need to provide their public liability insurance.
